Questions for people who believe in heaven and hell

The evil will shock the world. The who involved will also.

Get your spirit ready. PRAY.

As I said, this is all very immoral to me. You are wishing for horrible things to happen. Very sad and shameful.

How do you feel about hell now?

So you’re a Buddhist? Sweet! Me too! I believe we’re all trying to just figure out how to get out of this material world.

Pretty much but I'm a cafeteria Catholic Buddhist agnostic... if I had to be specific.

PP here. That’s cool! I’m a Jew Buddhist.

No, because that is God's final judgment, not mine. And yes, I worry about people who may not be going to heaven. I believe that God in His mercy does what He can so that we will all choose eternal life with Him. But the final decision is ours.

I worry about myself. The thought of being on fire forever is sometimes too much for me. I won’t have children because of it. No way will I worry about my child burning. It’s enough to worry about myself

So if you think God's judgment is immoral, why do you worship him? Out of fear?

Same here. You keep coming back until you finally have nothing left to work on.

People are not going to hell or heaven. They create those all their lives, they live in those things and after life their concourses sort of kind of continues torment or sets itself free. Also most people do not give a flying potato about helping people while they suffer earthly problems, so you think they give a hoot where they go after they die?

Those are often the very same people who have enough resources to support a small country that won't help the poor but they still know they are headed for heaven, or so they believe. Seriously?... no.

There is either glitch in the system, problem with translation or misinterpreting the concept.

Yeah? NO.

How many people that you know are born with alcoholic parents, or disabilities or in total poverty etc..
and then you make them go for it? All while you give it all to some dudes?

That is either extremely cruel trick or people overthinking the idea of hell, justice and holy intervention.

We covered that before some 50 threads ago. Yes. Most people unfortunately worship God out of fear and they
expect God to give them what they ask or else. While in whole honesty God, in order to be just and fair should either help everybody which he is not, or nobody which would be fair. But they would not like the idea.

But imagine, a father who does not play favorites and is not good to kids who are nice and mean or indifferent to those who don't worship him?

They teach that God created the human in the image of himself, but when comes to think of it looks like it is the other way around.. people insist on making God just like themselves... What if God does what he said, he just
let people live their lives and what if nothing that happens is his doing but just the acts of natures and people's choices? While he is watching...

Jesus said "ask and you shell receive". So he encouraged prayer.. Our Father"..

So that is something to ponder though.

Well aren't you a sweetheart. Thanks for confirming what I believe about many religious people.

The rules are pretty clear. If you are too proud to obey them, that's on you.

Also, you don't control what other people do. If they don't want to obey the rules, nothing you can do about it.

Really the only thing any believer should worry about is their own soul. And we all know that we have plenty to worry about.

Which/Who's rules?

DP here, but I pretty sure the poster referred to God's rules.

No, it doesn't and I volunteer every single week to help other people. But I cannot change them. It is between them and God. I have only worry about my relationship with the God. And what is the point to worry about other people behavior? It is counterproductive and not going to do anything other than cause me an anxiety, so what is your point? I know a lot of people who may not go to heaven, but I can't buy them a ticket to heaven.

A lot of "believers" in this thread are very, very immoral. Very shameful stuff.
