Thanks. Oddly, that seems inconsistent with the other guidance they have. For example, in the "Companion Document for Temporary Waived Regulations" it talks about family child care homes having 10 school-age children. |
That was back in March. The limits were placed later. |
Thanks for posting this. Can you tell us where the language is regarding home daycares? I've searched the links and cannot find anything about a 10 person max for home daycares.
In the FAQs PDF I see that "family providers" can care for up to 8 kids at one time, assuming they are licensed. I assume a family provider is the same as a home daycare...? |
We have been told a 10 person limit per home over the phone and I’ve looked through my files but I can’t find a memo that says it to share with you. |
My in-home provider also told me today that there is a 10-person total limit for the entire house including all family members, providers and daycare kids. |
Does anyone know what changes based on Hogan's announcement today? I see that capacity limits have increased to 15 people per room for (I'm guessing) centers. But what about home daycares? |
There is a 15 person per family home limit. They increased it by five people. |
