She has very little experience. Also, she went to a third-tier law school in California whose accreditation was revoked by the ABA. If she wants to improve Petersburg so much, why doesn't she run for mayor of that city?

I think she has potential. Is Herring ever going to give up the Attorney General position? That might be a good fit. Petersburg needs all the help it can get, but I don't know if it lead to long term political clout.

I’m really impressed with her. I like Jennifer McClellan too, and she has more experience. But Carroll Foy is impressive and has made a big impact in 1.5 terms.

She would make a nice weather woman on the local news. That’s about it. No obvious qualifications to be governor.

im here for it! Exactly what VA needs.

Herring is the best, most successful state AG in the country. His opponents have exactly zero experience, will not be able to do the job, and then the position will flip back to Republicans. Carroll Foy didn't go to a licensed law school at all and Jones has been a part-time divorce lawyer. Sorry but that is what got Virginia Kilgore and Cuccinelli. No.

How do you wind up going from VMI to a third tier law school in CA? As a URM? How bad do your grades/LSAT have to be?

Talk to her. Have a conversation about state finances or state legislation or state agencies. Go engage with her. She is very smart and very convincing and very engaging. But she doesn't know anything. When she politically matures she will be impressive. Now she creates only vulnerabilities; a pretend Moderate-Republican could wipe the room up with her the moment they debate.

Her campaign is picking up steam

If she was a white man would you say the same thing?

Honestly we need black women in leadership. They are the backbone of this country, if you want to admit it or not. I will vote for her a million times before another old, white establishment man.

This is literally all I care about.

Don’t know anything about her, but am looking into establishing VA residency so I can vote for her in the primary

Experience doesn't mean anything anymore (unfortunately). Look at AOC, Madison Cawthorn (25, NC), Some town in Orgenon elected an 18year old as Mayor, etc. I am not going to ding her on it.
