I kind of love this kitchen. Am I crazy? (Retro)

I like this kitchen, including the black and white checkerboard floor. The only thing that is throwing me off is the pink tile in the back splash, it clashes with that bright red table....and I think that the red table is too bright red to be retro. I can't decide if I'd need to change the back splash or the table or both.
