Anyone get insane muscle soreness/fatigue?

Try foam rolling. You likely have a muscle imbalance, which when doing foam rolling, will be very apparent. I discovered this when I did a personal training session. You should google how to do foam rolling if you have no idea what it is. You can buy a foam roller online.

Can someone link to whatever magnesium they take? I tried it a few weeks ago and it made me so unbelievably tired, and for multiple days. Maybe my muscles weren't sore anymore, but I couldn't tell because I was struggling just to keep my eyes open.

Can you share what you have? I have an autoimmune and suspect I am developing another one that attacks my muscles. I'm trying to find a doctor that will see me for the potential of Mysthenia gravis but most places aren't starting new people right now.

Are you sure of the autoimmune disease? Mitochondrial disease can cause muscle fatigue and pain and can be similar to myasthenia gravis.

No, not sure at all. I have Grave's disease and am having muscle trouble. My endocrinologist is the one that suggested mysthenia gravis due to the location of my muscle weakness. I'll look into mitochondrial disease though, thanks.

I'm taking this one...

Magnesium Zinc & Vitamin D3 - Most Bioavailable Forms of Magnesium - Malate, Glycinate, Citrate - MagWell by LiveWell | Bone & Heart Health, Immune System Support - 120 Capsules

https://livewell-labs.com/product/magwell?tr=nKQoRMl&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIsazisomR6QIVDz5gCh1Hvg6qEAAYASAAEgLtSfD_BwE

It got a really good rating for this. My legs were starting to kill me. I am now taking magnesium and Creatine.

Magnesium deficiency. It’s not in most multivitamins.

Agree with magnesium. I do long distance triathlon and since quarantine, my workouts are harder and longer than usual, especially during the week. I was starting to feel a physical breakdown. Best advice is take 2 full days of rest and drink lots of water. It can be very difficult to take time off (I am not good at it) but I always come back feeling so much better. I need to learn to take my own advice.

Ice, compression and rest. For compression, a wide elastic ace bandage around your hammie will help immensely and speed up the process by a alot. They also make compression sleeves for hamstrings that are easier to use because you can slip them on, but sizing is important so you'd be taking a guess if you ordered online.

Hamstrings can be really nagging injuries if you don't handle them correctly. Be very careful about going out running again. Once you feel 100%, you need to work back up to it, starting with walks.

thanks very much. that's what I was afraid of but I appreciate the advice.

I'm the original magnesium poster. I take whatever I pick up at Safeway and use it religiously- every night. When are you taking it? I take it an hour before bed.
