Yes, they are so expensive. I've raised 3 kids in NW DC (kids currently in late middle school) and Writopia is one of the most expensive kids' activities there is.
Something is not right about their business model.


My DS did Writopia classes all three years in middle school (he's now in college). The full-pay tuition subsidizes their outreach programs and those seeking reduced tuition. Back when we used it, $140 of the tuition was tax-deductible.
