When you speak of m/c, how many weeks?

15:18 I am also still reeling. Not as far along - no hb at 8w, looked to have stopped developing at 6w and a few days. D&C was Fri night. So sad.

Same exact thing when I miscarried last year except I was about a week farther along. We knew at the first u/s that there was something wrong with the gestational sac, but were hoping for the best. At around 10 weeks, another u/s confirmed a m/c.

Your chances of miscarriage really do decrease if you have a u/s that shows all is well (strong heartbeat, no problems with sac, etc.).

I'm almost exactly the same scenario as these two PPs. At 6.5 weeks the first U/S baby had borderline slow HB, but everything else looked good. Said I might have ovulated later (which I knew I didn't b/c I chart) or that implantation just took longer. I was hopeful it was the later. But at the 8.5 week U/S baby had no heartbeat and the yolk sac was abnormally large.

If you're seeing strong HB and everything OK at 8 weeks the chances are you'll be fine. I remember with my first pregnancy being so worried about miscarriage until I hit the second trimester. Although the worry never stops. Then when you can feel the baby moving and he/she doesn't move as much one day I was running to the doctor for a non-stress test and monitoring. (And then the baby is born and the worry only gets worse...).
