FWIW, I think it’s a cute nickname, but it just reminds me of the Romy and Michelle movie as a full name. I like the Rosemary suggestion, or Ramona is nice too.

This name was recently discussed. I know because I participated in the discussion.

I knew a Romy in high school and she was pretty and sweet and popular and her father was the superintendent of schools. I have always had good associations with her name and have always liked it.
