| GDA training schedule, format, and rules with the ability to play high school more lax sub rules. What everyone wanted from US soccer’s GDA but couldn’t get. |
|
How can this promote high school soccer when high school seasons in every state are different?
Seems a lie and club directors will stop kids from playing high school or there will be very few games. |
|
This actually sounds good. This actually could
work pretty good for DA clubs. |
Perhaps play both, the way people used to do it. |
That's what ECNL did before DA came in and forced differentiation, right? Some girls played both (and played very little in ECNL games during HS season) some girls only played ECNL (and were pressured to do so) and played a lot. Let's the players decide what is important to them.... |
Isn't that what ECNL does, with HS seasons different in different states there too? |
| This is not a big deal. Our team has girls with various high schools that have various seasons. Some still do not play hs soccer because of all the soccer they already play. |
This is rich. A ECNL backer now lecturing on how HS can’t be done. |

GAL current leadership:
NATIONAL LEADERSHIP GROUP Barry Ritson - LA Surf Kevin Boyd - Legends Troy Garner - Tophat Wes Schevers - Lonestar Matt Grubb - FC Dallas |
| Are there any ECNL players locally considering switching to GAL? |
2 California, 2 Texas, 1 Georgia. Sounds great for teams in virginia. |
Boy, you are a dense one, aren’t you. Those are quality clubs representing leadership. See the forest for the trees, my bitter friend |
Source? |
You lost me at Wes. One of the biggest clowns in soccer. All about not losing revenue. Does not even care about player development. |
Why did San Diego Surf and Real So Cal go back to ECNL instead of playing in this elite league? What about Charlotte? |
