Will you still take handed down clothing after covid?

Cleaning house and trying to decide if I should hang on to the stuff I would normally pass along to other families... and give it to them after the pandemic. Or will nobody want it after this for fear of germs??

If hot water and soap clean hands then why wouldn't this same principle apply to clothing? You Are a moron.

We give stuff away to friends, so they already know items are coming from a smoke-free home, but going forward we will probably add that that nobody in our home ever had Covid (hopefully).

You can’t make that promise.

I wouldn’t avoid it now. You can leave the bag or box somewhere for a few days, then wash.

Yes, if it can all be washed.

Soap destroys the coronavirus.

Even now it’s okay, as long as you leave it alone for a couple days.

We are happy to accept hand-me-downs from close friends and family, and once we’re out of the baby years we’ll happily pass them along to others. We may be wealthy but we’re not too proud to accept other people’s help.

Of course. Let the bag/box of clothes sit in the garage for a couple days, then wash and dry using a high temperature (which I do with all hand me downs anyway). There's no way the virus could survive.

It isn't always being proud. We don't have anyone who can pass down now but when we have the stuff is pretty worn out and faded and I prefer not to dress my child that way and we aren't wealthy. I can get things pretty cheaply on clearance when I watch and buy in advanced. Then, resell them at a consignment sale.

If you let it sit a week in a bag and wash it, its fine.
