Even now it’s okay, as long as you leave it alone for a couple days. We are happy to accept hand-me-downs from close friends and family, and once we’re out of the baby years we’ll happily pass them along to others. We may be wealthy but we’re not too proud to accept other people’s help.
It isn't always being proud. We don't have anyone who can pass down now but when we have the stuff is pretty worn out and faded and I prefer not to dress my child that way and we aren't wealthy. I can get things pretty cheaply on clearance when I watch and buy in advanced. Then, resell them at a consignment sale. If you let it sit a week in a bag and wash it, its fine.
