I've lost 2.5 lbs this year, after being on a plateau for months. I'm bringing my lunch and all my snacks to work instead of eating out. I'm using the stairs at work instead of the elevator, and once per day doing 7 flights down and back up to my office. I'm using my wii fit on the weekends, which I love because it gives me something active and fun to do when it's cold outside. The couple days it was really nice out earlier this week I went out for a walk instead of telling myself I'd go out for a walk "later."
I'd like to lose 12.5 more lbs by mid-April. |
| I, too, am on WW and have lost 6.4 lbs since January 4. I have also been working out 3 times a week for about 40 minutes on the elliptical and bike. I like the points system so far and don't feel too deprived. I would like to lose 20 lbs. by May 1 (we have a wedding to go to that weekend). I am glad to hear that WW has worked for so many people! |

I'm the one who's training for the sprint triathalon and it is NOT EASY. However, together with WW, I have lost 4 lbs in the last 3 weeks!
Of course, my officemate brought in donuts this morning, so thats an extra 10 mins on the treadmill for me

| 7 pounds down since Jan 1. Haven't had a single sweet since then (my big holiday time downfall), few carbs and am counting points using WW online. |
| Are the WW clan mostly doing WW online or do you attend meetings? Which option do you find most effective? |
| WW who started right after Labor Day, down 4 sizes and only 6 more pounds to go, I go to meetings. I don't know why I do it though. It's just as easy to do it online. I do, however, prefer the books that give you the points to the online tools. But now that I started the meetings, I feel like I want to hit goal before I stop. |
| Still keeping at it - on my own - portion control and calorie counting. Lost 4 lbs so far in 3 weeks. Happy with that, and keeping at it. Finding that an afternoon cup of hot tea soothes the savage snackies. |
| I do WW online. I only really had to use the website the first month, after that it was easy enough to just do it on my own. I'm down 47 lbs!! |
| Fell off the wagon tonight. Must get back on tomorrow. |
| WW online. I tried meetings but they are more expensive and I found them to be repetitive and a waste of time for me. You have to be disciplined though to go it online. Friends of mine have had great success with the meetings. |
| what is the WW weight loss program. I missed please help i would love to join the weight loss program |
They are talking about Weight Watchers. |
How long did it take you to lose this much weight? Did you stay on track the whole time? |
| 21:26 here. I started it at 6 weeks postpartum, and I had my baby in late May. I lost most the weight by Thanksgiving - I've been pretty much the same weight since then. I'm not big into exercising, so all of that was just with portion control and counting points. I'll probably start doing some walking for 30-40 minutes a day to lose the last 10 lbs. |
| 21:26 again - I should add . . . I even had brownies, ice cream, and cookies regularly!! I just ate the weight watchers brand ones, because they are portion controlled AND full of fiber. I found it critical to eat lots of high fiber foods to keep me full, especially the first week. After that, it was honestly very easy and I never really fell off the wagon at any point. Every week it was down 2 lbs like clock work. |
