I know you weren’t! You were trying to get people to ask which club so you could start a fight. If you are really concerned call your coach or Diréctor of the club. Instead of trying to start up drama.

OP here. Since starting this thread, we've heard from our club. I'm happy about that. When I first posted, I was simply looking to check my expectations. I know soccer isn't life and death and relatively speaking, is low on list of priorities in the larger world right now. That's why I was holding off reaching out to the our club - fear of seeming tone deaf, knowing that people are dealing with far graver issues than whether their kid has access to a training app and emails from the coach. That being said, soccer is a really important aspect of my kid's life, and I was feeling hopeful that my expectation that clubs reach out wasn't out of line because selfishly, I wanted my kid to have the same connection with teammates and coach during this tough time that I was seeing with other clubs. That's all. Nothing more sinister.

I'm sorry that this was perceived as starting drama or a sign that I am unable or unwilling to talk to my club directly. I thought this site was a place to get input from other parents on issues of common interest. Thanks to those who responded in a constructive way. Stay safe, everyone.
