Anyone else's dog reacting strangely to this new situation?

My dog is also 16 and is just super happy to have me in the house more! Just took a family walk and now he’s resting. If his attitude and behavior changed, I would take him in. 16 is old!

Unfortunately, him peeing in the house isn’t that unusual. It’s just more than usual. He’s totally fine when he’s with DH in his office (his usual weekday routine) and in our bedroom at night, but when he’s downstairs he seems more on edge than usual. I’ll wait another day or so to see if anything improves or declines. -OP

OP here with an update. Yesterday since it was nice out I took him for a long(er) walk than normal and sat on the porch outside with him for a while. He was tuckered out and basically rested the whole rest of the day. This morning he seems back to normal (resting instead of acting on edge and peeing inside). Maybe he just needed to get his nervous energy out, just like us humans . My fingers are crossed.
