USA sellers scamming about their products

They aren't scamming. They are purchasing it from a supplier and charging for their time. You can easily get burned by doing it your way.

Actually that’s a negative. I’ve purchased small things for years like light fixtures, ceramic tile from suppliers in China and have never had an issue! The money you pay is put in an escrow and you make sure you only deal with guaranteed assurance suppliers. They do not get their money until you get your shipment and everything is kosher. Even things that you never get delivered you will get a refund on. This is the first time I decided to go for a big purchase like this! But like I said the supplier will not get the money until I receive the marble and everything looks great and is as described. I guess you can get burned if you are not savvy about who you’re dealing with. But I’m an expert researching companies and reviews.

Yes but I do know that the EXACT items are being sold in a design gallery not far from me of course at quadruple the price. And I know they are getting it from overseas too. I don’t think there are any artisans left here in the USA .

Don't you know that most marble is imported? There are a few sources in the US, but for carrara, Italy the superior source.

Oh no!! Does this mean that all the morrow I purchased from China is going to melt when it rains?

Marble . Darn voice texting. LOL

Actually, I have seen the difference in person. Tile Shop uses Chinese marble. It looks good, but not great. Lots of yellow for their Carrara. It definitely looks like lower quality than better tile showrooms.

Marble is already pours. I’d be worried about low quality stuff being less durable.
