I had a kid drop the nap literally the day before school started. It was fine. Still needs a super early bedtime, but the PM class is great for a more relaxed start to the day, and not having to return home for the nap means more relaxed outings on weekends. And now there is a full-day option for the second year of preschool, so it’s just one school year which goes by so quickly.

Ours was PM and still taking naps but adjusted to no nap in the first couple of weeks. But she was 3. I don’t know that I would do it for a young 2 year old. I think they still need their nap.

What does NCRC guarantee about next year’s placement? And what is their sibling policy?

No guarantees for next year’s placement, although typically AM stays AM, etc. now the second year has a full day option and not sure hoe preferences for that are weighed. Siblings are basically guaranteed, although they won’t guarantee AM preference.
