Help-very nervous about DC's playdate

I agree pp. Why do so many DCUMers find everything so "disturbing"? Role playing is very, very important for children. And, the OP is talking about a 2.5 year old for God's sake. Of course, she would be nervous.

But "nervous" about WHAT? That her child won't measure up? That, God forbid, she might not get into this fabulous place that every 2.5 year old should experience? I'm not a big fan of the word "disturbing" either, PP, so I'll just say that I find it "annoying" that so many DCUMsput so much pressure on their kids and themselves, when their children are at such a young age.

Ok pp -- I'm the earlier pp -- I see what you're saying. I'm glad all of the stress is behind me. My daughter is a college freshmen. I just told someone the most stressful part of motherhood are college apps...nothing compared to that process for us.
