| Seems like he's hoping to salvage his reputation by getting fired for standing up to Trump. Too late. He's a lost cause. |
Yep. He’s making a play to be either seen as standing up to Trump or getting fired by him. Trump did him dirty. |
He isn't getting fired and he isn't resigning. He is destroying the DOJ to protect the President at all costs. |
No sympathy for Barr here. He knew that Trump doesn't have a loyal bone in his body. What did Barr expect? |
| Lindsay Graham weighing in now trying to save wholly corrupt Barr from being fired. |
| Barr is a good man. |
Sure, Jan. |
|
This sums it up, Barr admitted to intervening because it was a case related to the President. Frankly, it doesn't matter whether the President called for it or not. That isn't how the DOJ is supposed to work.

After this weeks craziness with Trump and DOJ to burn "law and order" down, Barr got Trump's permission to disagree with him to distract the media. Expect some tweetstorm about Barr, and media speculation about when he would be fired while "law and order" is subverted in the background. |
Good people can do bad things. |

Liberals on DCUM: "Why won't anyone stand up to Trump?"
AG Barr: Stands up to Trump Liberals on DCUM: "It's not enough. He's just salvaging his reputation. He's in Trump's pocket." Totally predictable. |
That's not what Barr is doing and it's not what he's done. - Not a liberal |

CNN reporting Trump not upset with Barr.
Barr has pulled it off. He’s created the appearance of independence from Trump to salvage his reputation. The rank and file won’t buy it, though. The rot in Main Justice still stinks. |

As I teach my 1st graders, sometimes you need an action apology. Barr has given us words- give us an action, then we can talk |
