How often do you wash your daughters hair?

2 times a week - Wednesdays and Sundays. She hates it so if we don’t have a schedule she would pitch a fit every time. 4 years old.

Curly hair shouldn’t be washed more often than every other day. I aim for every 2-4 days, unless noticeably dirty (from at least 6 inches to a foot away).

I’ve found that doing a French braid keeps the hair more contained, and leads to less dirt. I also tuck up the bottom of the braid, for less tangles and less breakage.

Curly hair here too- her and me. We wash daily. She is active and runs and plays all day and sweats.

We wash it about every other day, but sometimes it's 3 days. We take a nightly bath, so her hair gets rinsed with water every day.

Mine has thick straight hair though. I use a detangler/leave in conditioner spray every night too.

DD is AA and is 7. It gets washed and redone every 2 weeks.

I have long thick curly hair myself and I wash it weekly. About every 5-10 days depending on what I have going on that week. If I do stretch it to 10 days, days 7-10 I need dry shampoo (so not ideal).

My daughters both have coarse hair. Different textures and length, but both get washed every other week. The youngest gets co-washed in between, the oldest does not.

Every other day. We use shampoo 1-2x/week, the other days is cowashing. I do a deep condition every other month or so. Daughter is 6 with thick curly hair.

Twice a week. Maybe another time if there is actual dirt of sand in it.
Dd is 4. I tell her not to put dirty hands in her hair (or greasy if she's eating) or we will have to wash it. She hates washing it. I do keep it cut above her shoulders though. Otherwise it would take longer to wash and be messier.

Twice a week or when I look at it and think it's looking dirty. For me it's every other day, but my hair is much thicker than hers. She luckily got DH's hair -- fine and blonde. Not my thick, brown mess.

2x a week. She's 4 and it's waist length. It gets unmanageable if I wash it more than that.

We only cowash unless she went to the pool or had some particularly dirty activity gunk up her hair, and we cowash every other day. Her hair is shoulder length, fine, curly, and super dry and porous so tends toward frizz.

Hahaha! That’s been my pattern since high school.
