Why do some people do this ? I’m so baffled by her behavior

She thought she was doing you a favour by offering to help you out. If you wanted her help, you were supposed to meet at the coffee shop, even if usually you work in the library. She was offering you her time but you didn’t take advantage of it. Now she’s a little miffed because you didn’t appear to appreciate the gesture.
