Can we just take a second to acknowledge that MCPS made 2 "right" calls in a row?

I disagree. Snow days and delays should be reserved for significant accumulation (like 2+ inches).

I see no reason at all to close due to snow flakes.

And they didn't close. They released early and delayed opening. They've had school with 2 feet of snow still on the ground, but roads and sidewalks were clear. And they've had to cancel when windy conditions made it dangerous to be outside (yeah, I thought that one was silly until I went out to get something from my car and was literally blown over by the steady wind). Anyway, it's not all about accumulation.

Yes, whoever made those calls this time. Great job of the decisionmaker! Credit is due where credit is due. It is due.

We barely got any snow downcountry. I didn't think either was the right call.
