I disagree. Snow days and delays should be reserved for significant accumulation (like 2+ inches).

And they didn't close. They released early and delayed opening. They've had school with 2 feet of snow still on the ground, but roads and sidewalks were clear. And they've had to cancel when windy conditions made it dangerous to be outside (yeah, I thought that one was silly until I went out to get something from my car and was literally blown over by the steady wind). Anyway, it's not all about accumulation. |
