He should be charged with his illegal behavior. |
As someone posted above, “the federal investigation into his behavior continues.” I’m glad he had the decency to finally resign in the meantime. |
| In the article about him in the Washington Post today, it said that in 2010, he used constituent funds intended to help the needy with electricity bills and rent to pay for sports tickets for himself and clients. How did he continue for a decade after that kind of malfeasance? |
The Georgetown needy? |
| Wait. We can actually push out people who make their living by exploiting their public office for massive personal gain? First time for everything, I guess. Great news. |

You must not know much about Ward 2--it ranges from Georgetown to Logan Circle. If you think there are no poor people in there that could have used the $115,000 that was supposed to go to needy constituents, you must not know DC. |
How much do you want to bet that he ends up in a new career as a lobbyist for Maret, Colonial Parking etc (after prison of course). |
In 2010 his ward included all of Shaw. Lots of needy there. |
My prediction -- he won't live long after resigning. |
| When do we get to start throwing the rotten tomatoes? |
Third time in the past month! Look up Reps. Chris Collins (R-NY) and Duncan Hunter (R-CA). |

And now we get a special election to replace Evans in June!

The Jack Evans “goodbye bill.” I’m suportive of LGBT issues but wonder why the city would gift $500k to the LGBT alliance while it screws over DC public students who would like to use the prime location Jelleff field because the city says we need the $95k that Maret will pay for exclusive use of the field by its private school students.
