| What about the 20 Beauvoir K spots -- do they generally go to new families? |

| Most but not all. There are often a few siblings who don't get in at PK (deemed "not ready"), who get another shot at K. |

| Does anyone know how many spots open up at 1st grade? Is it generally harder to get in at 1st or later grades? Thanks |

| I was told by the admissions office that 8 additional kids are added at 1st grade. At 1st grade they have 28 kids (the 20 kids from kindergarten plus the new 8) which are then split into 2 classrooms of 14 each. |
