This. Stay home. Make merry. Same tomorrow. Go out on the 26th.

I don’t know how your family is but when our family stays home for the entire day, we all end up watching tv.

Nope. We watched one movie after dinner and that was it. Played games, wrapped gifts, cooked and ate. Kids played with each other and the dog. We love these days! Will repeat tomorrow and reluctantly go somewhere Thursday.

Op here. We ended up going to enchant and had a great time.

My toddler is too young to play games. Every family is different. We have a small family and we like to go on outings. Not sure if it matters but I stay home and grandparents are retired. We stay home all the time.

On every post where someone asks for suggestions about going somewhere, there is always someone who says to just stay home.

There was a recent post where a mom was looking for suggestions on what to do with her 3 kids over winter break. I gave some suggestions and other people attacked me because we couldn’t just stay home.

It’s so sad that people cannot figure out how to entertain themselves and their kids without crowdsourcing.

OP, there is a reason so many things are closed. People are home celebrating. Sorry your kid and his grandparents bore you so much.

It is more sad when someone has to go on the internet to insult strangers on Christmas.

I was just feeling so grateful about life and my family.

I’m sorry if it bothers you that our family likes to see festive lights and take pictures on Christmas Eve. DH has to work tomorrow so the 24th was the day we wanted to go on an outing. My toddler had a great time last night and the weather was just perfect.

We will be traveling to see my side of the family this weekend.

There are people with no family or bad relationships with family. You can learn to be a little more kind, especially on Christmas.

As long as you had something to Instagram, it’s all good!

NP here - I love taking photos of and with my kids, and have never had an Instagram account. I like looking at them myself, or texting a couple to close family/friends. I know some people don’t like the way they look, so they hate taking pictures. And that’s okay too.

Also, it doesn’t sound like you had much fun this Christmas, if you’re on DCUM at 5pm to insult someone asking an innocuous question. Sorry about that.
