That's exactly what I thought!

| It used to be a hard school to get into but not anymore. |
Dumb post. |
It is for women. |
| Not a difficult college to get into. Especially full pay from the other side of the country (geo diversity). |
What makes you say that? What’s your evidence? |
| It has a 25% acceptance rate. Doubt there was a need to donate and TMZ would uncover it anyway. |
https://lmgtfy.com/?q=https%3A%2F%2Finstitutionalresearch.vassar.edu%2Fdocs%2FVassarCollegeCDS-1819.pdf If you're too lazy to click on the link, Here's the BLUF: Acceptance rate for men: 33% Acceptance rate for women: 21% |
| Acceptance rates mean nothing. A full pay Californian rich kid with half-decent grades isn’t getting rejected from freakin’ Vassar. All these small LACs are struggling with headcount and budgets. |
Yep, acceptance rates mean nothing. Good lord you’re a moron. |
|
I’m glad that this child will have the opportunty to be far away from her family and the cheating.
Vassal isn’t Harvard, but it is a great school and she will get a first-rate education. |
Pray tell the acceptance rate of rich Californians with decent stats and a competent essay. I’d guess: 100% |
Since you asked - at Harvard-Westlake, probably the best private in SoCal, only 11 out of 24 kids got into Vassar the last 3 years. https://students.hw.com/Portals/44/Handbook2019.pdf |
| If you're rich and demonstrate interest (tour/visit), you'll get in. All the kids rejected from these LACs are obvious shotgun apps from kids who will never attend. They have all the data--nobody blindly applies to Vassar from California, gets in, and actually goes. |
| Felicity's younger daughter goes to a different school from the older one. She goes to Westridge, a progressive all-girl's school, very liberal, in Pasadena. Westridge is exactly the sort of place that preps and feeds kids into schools like Vassar. |
