I live one town over from her, and we work out at the same gym. I was born and raised in DC, but moved here from Bethesda. Have been on DCUM since 2008.

There truly aren't many people around here who "like" her. And I am only expressing what I think happened based on all the stuff I hear around here (locally), and also a reality TV Facebook group that I belong to where this exact topic has been discussed ad nauseam.

What is it that happened? Natalie supposedly no longer wanted to be an assistant. Heather offered her a FT job after the maternity leave was over even though Natalie didn’t know what she wanted to do. Natalie didn’t take the job for some reason. How was she screwed over? Was she paid $50/hr as an assistant but when offered the different role, she was offered $10/hr? Her being screwed over isn’t clear.

She wasn’t screwed over. She’s trying to make herself relevant now since she’s no longer heathers assistant. Heather offered her a job after her maternity leave and she turned it down. No remorse for this girl at all.

This is the PP that lives in OC. In my opinion, Natalie was screwed over because she went on maternity leave with one job - and every expectation that she would return to that same position - to a totally new and different job, one that HD knew that Natalie would likely not want. This is my opinion. This is the opinion of many here in the local area. I could be totally and completely wrong!

She was a personal assitant. What job could possibly be worse?

I don't know Natalie and don't live in the community but honestly as a new mom it makes more sense that she demanded a job with better hours, no late schedules, not running around all over town etc. In other words - one that she could spend part-time in an sedate setting and maybe even bring her baby to.

I just think they couldn't come to an agreement on what that was or if Heather needed someone like that.

It’s bizarre you keep mentioning you’re local to heather. In reality, you’re guessing and no know more than anyone else. Why mention you love in the areas or mention the opinions of others in the area? Has nothing to do with anything bc you know zero more than anyone else.

Listen, I used to listen to this podcast before and it was pretty good. Entertaining and chatty, I’d say. Now it is insufferable. HD clearly has zero self awareness as to how she comes off. Say what you like, Natalie brought a realness to the podcast. She is missed.
