Nora short form of Eleonora, a variation of Eleanor.

OP here, I actually love this. The problem is that I have a Cora so that would be too much. Actually the problem is that we loved the name Cora from the start and now we don't know another name we like as much that would give us the same excitement as her name gave us!

I like Esme. Its a cute name and ive liked since I first came across it in a book as a teenager.

Imo Eliza is better as a nn for Elizabeth than a name in an of itself. I know ppl do it; that is just my preference.

I dislike all but Eliza.

Catriona???

With Cora:

Juliette
Eloise
Eliza

In that order.

Catriona is a common name in Ireland where it's pronounced "Katrina."

Pick the name you like best. I like Esme, but I always add "with love and squalor."

Eliza ( I love the nickname kinsmen Zsa Zsa for Eliza).

Then, Juliette.

Isla is too overused. I don’t care for any of the others.

Same. My favorite short story but not my favorite name. Plus Esme wasn’t a happy character.

That’s a tough list to work with. I actually like Esme but the others...not at all. And I can’t see actually using Esme.

How about Harriet nn Hattie?
Anonymous
Eliza...because of Eliza Dushku (aka Faith the Vampire Slayer)

She’ll be 5 by 5

I hear you OP (I am the poster who suggested the names above).

It is nice when kids names do not work against but in a way they complement each other.

So since we already have Cora.. how about

Cora and Kaya

Cora and Mia

Cora and Abigail

Cora and Giselle

Cora and Isabelle

Cora and Naomi

Cora and Stella

Cora and Grace

Cora and Lena

Cora and Noelle

Cora and Zoey .. Zoe (life)

Cora and Emma

Cora and Poppy

Cora and Dahlia

Cora and Autumn

Good luck and let us know!

I like Juliette .. Julietta.. the only problem is that Juliette is a French personal name. It is a diminutive of Julithis is diminutive from Julia therefore perfect for a little girl but not so cute when she will be 55 and this will be her main name and not any other option.. KInd of like Sophie would not have Sophia as a name but just Sophie..

Doable but not ideal if she will be in a formal settings and would not like to go by ette or etta..
like a little girl.

Also the name origin is from Julius.. which comes from from the Latin Julius, or "son of Jove" as in.. Jupiter
