Saving baby teeth?

My MIL produced my husband’s 30 year old baby teeth a few months ago. Kinda gross

I plan to put them in a designated folder for baby things that came home with us from the hospital.

I saved a couple just because it seemed odd to throw them away, but also it's odd to keep them so I erred on keeping. Came in handy once when I lost one of my kid's teeth before the tooth fairy came and I whipped out his sister's old tooth instead. Kid had no idea there was a switcheroo (I think it was an obvious difference like a molar for a canine).

An old tooth saved me once too. My ADHD kid put her tooth in a paper napkin on the dinner table and it got thrown out. She was scared the Tooth Fairy would skip her. I just happened to find her tooth before bedtime...in the container where I’d put previously lost teeth.

JK. I have no earthly idea what to do with them. I saved them because i thought I was supposed to. They're in envelopes to the tooth fairy.
