| Is this an inside joke that the rest of us don’t get? |
| Maybe OP is trying to gauge what % of kids eligible for a bus actually use it? But that doesn’t explain the reporting to colleges part? So maybe she does mean behavior? |

With increasing expectation that school districts will know where kids are at all times, the use of RFiD badges to track student "attendance" (ridership) on a school bus is certainly possible.
http://www.cloudcollected.com/Tracking/School_Bus I'm not aware of any DC area schools using this system but it is surely only a matter of time. I can't imagine giving any kind of Assessment grade for being present on a bus. What are you thinking about OP? |
| Rats, now I understand why I didn't get into Stanford. I only rode the bus in the afternoon. 50%=F. |
Possible her son is getting in trouble on the bus and she’s worried it’s noted in his cumulative file. |
| No one cares about bus ridership. My child is expected to walk to and from school. |
| Wut? |
My town didn't even have school buses, so I had to go to a state school. Guess I should count myself lucky they even accepted me? |
| OP, come back and explain yourself. |
| How many of the kids who skipped school to support Greta Thunberg drive to/from school rather than take the yellow bus? Social justice schools should let applicants know that their indifference to their school bus will be used against them. That would be a fair and equitable 'hook.' |
| My child got a "B" in bus. OMG, she'll never be a success! |
|
My child is an excellent bus rider. I wish that good work could be calculated into his GPA! |

" My child is an excellent bus rider. I wish that good work could be calculated into his GPA! "
It definitely reflects well on you and your child. It should trump coached college essays which are fake, phony, frauds. |
