The 2019 Lincoln Navigator has a 6 figure MSRP

Isn't the average age of a Lincoln owner 79 or something?

Maybe it comes with a nude Matthew McConaughey playing bongos in the backseat.

Do you think Ford's target customer for Navigator is women? I don't understand why they are using him in ads. For me (guy) the commercial really turns me off.

OP here. Yes. I think they are going for the Rich Mom Yukon XL Denali crowd.

The new black Suburbans all over the place look like over sized hearses. this is only marginally better but not in light blue and not for 100k, no way.

Seriously. The guy has the IQ of an eggplant and isn’t that good looking - a woman.

1. It's a really nice interior. Range Rover or high-end Mercedes level.

I think that's about it. It's on the same platform as the Ford Expedition and it doesn't help that Ford has a terrible QC reputation on their recent engines and transmissions.

In this class my $100k would go to a full-size Range Rover if I'm leasing or LX570 if I need to keep it outside warranty.

How can you criticize Lincoln for reliability and then in the next sentence recommend a Range Rover? Those are absolute basketcases

It looks so cheap inside.

Have you seen the 2030 Mercedes or Range Rover interiors? This Lincoln is very outdated.

Both Mercedes and Range Rover have screen dashes.

If you're leasing or owning it entirely under warranty you don't care. If you're paying $100k for a status SUV you want a rolling Rolex.

The full-size Range Rover is at the top of the luxury SUV prestige pyramid. The Navigator is a Ford product in "middle class retired boomer in flyover country" garb that most people would guesstimate is a $60k car.

I drive a facelifted RR Sport so I know the interior quite well. The Navigator does have a screen as the gauge cluster. You should sit in a Navigator first before knocking it. The car mags tend to agree the RR/RRS and Navigator are in a class of their own in terms of material quality.

Mercedes bills the GLS as the "S-class" of SUVs but the GLS interior is the same quality level as the GLE/E-class. A lot of hard plastic. The S-class sedan interior is definitely a step above the GLS.

LOL @ 14 mpg with faux distressed wood interior. Yup, it's a $100K tank on 4 wheels. Never change Lincoln.

The women I know who would buy a car like this will buy it in precisely 1 of 2 colors. White or black. No other options.

He’s too skinny. I find him quite unattractive. Like a skeleton.
