Explain why putting baby in third row is easier

Why would you put your baby so far away from you? Having baby in a second row is a necessity but having in a third

I would worry that in the third row if baby fell asleep and there was a lot going on they might get forgotten. Hot car deaths happen to otherwise good parents.
