oh no! Lot's more training, lots more games this year. |
Mind you, this is U10 |
| It never ends for us. Maybe from Dec 22 to Jan 5 and then again from mid June to mid July. That’s about it. Yep. Gotta trek down south for 5-6 hrs for a Sat. game, then to Richmond on Sun. |
|
My kids still have 3 and 4 EDP regular season games left. Bethesda tournament 11/22 and regular season practices until the week before Xmas. Club starts 3 practices per week again on Jan 13th.
It’s pretty much all of the time. They play futsal elsewhere starting in Dec also. |
I dont see it as a undercutting comment- its not in the norm for a high level team to be done already. What club and age does your kid play for??? |
You play for a club that didn't provide a list of everything your annual fee covers? That's messed up. |
| What age group, OP? My DS is in seniors and their season is virtually year-round (longest break is in the summer). Practices through winter, tournaments, showcases, etc. |
| My DC had outdoor practice all year and the club did an outdoor league in winter that only cancelled if there was snow on the field. The soccerplex actually plows its turf fields. In winter practice was only once a week and games on weekends. |
Mine too and last year I invested heavily in those hand warmers for DC to use in gloves. |
| One more tournament and done! ...until Futsal season starts... |
I love Futsal season. Fun to watch and indoors! My kids still have an EDP game each and a tournament the weekend before Thanksgiving 11/23-11/24-one is in Bethesda tournament and one the Southampton-Baltimore cup. |
The comment was about your friend's kid's team, not yours. What exactly is an "undercut" comment anyway? |
| If you want a short season and still pay premium price I suggest Alexandria soccer is the perfect place |
