giftable kids clothes?

Rufflebutts (ignore the silly name). Adorable stuff and fantastic quality. We were gifted some and they’re my favorite clothes our kids have.

Too taste specific, unless OP knows they like that stuff.

If I am able to use a gift card that my kid receives and doesn't want, I buy it from them for cash. Ie: kid receives a Target gift card but what they want is from Amazon. I will "apply" their Target credit to my Amazon order and then use the Target gift card on food or shampoo or whatever.

Amazon is nice as you can buy other store gift cards with the gift card. You can probably do the same with Target.

Gap is always a good choice.

I think the age really matters.

Like older kids (7+) like different clothes than younger kids.

I like Mini Boden and Tea Collection for younger kids. I would put Hanna in that category.

Older kids want Under Armour, Gap kids, Justice.

Or local sports jerseys/sweatshirts - cant get enough of those.

If you're talking girls and boys, ages toddler through elementary, then I'd stick to basics like Primary or Gap. I like the suggestion to do Gap so they can be exchanged and used at a variety of places.

FWIW, the Hanna pajamas we got last year (from my MIL from Nordstrom I think) still seem on par quality wise to previous years.

I think buying PJs especially if you're buying them for the holidays is fine but I would agree that clothing can be very subjective if it's for school

Had been doing so at Hanna Anderssen but feel their quality has slipped. Plus I'm not loving their designs that are out so far. Anyone shop Janie and Jack since the Gap took it over? How's the quality? Other recommendations of where to shop for a "special" outfit for kids toddler through early elementary?

Someone once said, giving kids useful things as gifts is the biggest crime against childhood.

Just ask what they need if you want to make a gift.

Make a gift? Give a gift.

Tea collection has some fun shirts for boys. A lot of nice dresses too.

My son loves getting clothing but wouldn't want any of those brands.

No gift bday parties are worse.
