| From your insane ramble, it sounds like you both dodged a bullet. I wish you two had ended up together so you wouldn't both be out there capable of damaging other people. |
|
You shouldn't feel shitty. You should feel like you won the GD lottery.
Go live a good life OP. |
|
I'd reply to just him and say something like:
I guess she wasn't just a friend huh? Best of luck. Then BLOCK HIS SHIT. |
|
Agree that it makes a good story. I don't know what the other woman is thinking; maybe since her visa expired, it's a green card wedding? It sounds like the guy is a player and you seriously dodged a bullet.
I had a similar experience with a guy I had been dating long distance and casually. We had gone on a trip together and I could tell he wasn't really into it, so I wasn't surprised that he stopped contacting me after we got back from our trip. I was surprised, though, to get a wedding invitation a few months later via an email blast. Needless to say, I did not attend! |
| You dodged a bullet but also, could he just be marrying her for visa reasons ? |
Agreed! You dodged a bullet! New wifey won't be the one and only for long. |
| Ignore, block, move on. |
|
I would feel the opposite. OP you should be proud of yourself, you knew he wasn't right and went with your instincts.
Doesn't anyone feel sorry for the poor woman who is his next victim? |
+1 |

Go to the wedding! Make a nice speech! The ultimate revenge. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Dude. They sent you the registry. You HAVE to get them a gift. Be really weird about it too. Like a bathroom scale or this book:
|
| ^ the book, another set of sheets for the bed, and maybe a $25 gift card to Olive Garden. |
Should have left after that red flag. |
| Wait, what did the email say? They sent it out to everyone in their contact list? |
