For new walkers, one of the cutest things I’ve seen is the little old lady/man with a walker. RBG was also adorable last year, but this year I think most political figures are probably too controversial to lay on a toddler.

For little boys, or for Boy-girl twins, I’ve seen some adorable Popeye and Olive Oyls, and Danny and Sandy from Grease, on Pinterest.

Anything from a famous kids’ book: Madeline, the Cat in the Hat, Dorothy from the Wizard of the Oz, etc

Whatever you pick, personally, I think the best costumes tend to be home made and not too perfect. You can honestly stick a kid in solid black pajamas, paint on some whiskers and add a cat headband, and that’s going to be cooler than a head-to-toe Disney character ensemble out of a bag. Of course, not everyone has time for that, which is also fine.
