Only somebody insecure or angry about not getting the recognition they thought they would because their kid plays on a soccer team would create this thread.

I'm sure your kid sitting the bench at FCV would be worth it if only all of NOVA would recognize her greatness as the best sub on the top club in NOVA.

You keep starting threads about how great you are. What do you expect?

Did a child start this thread or an adult idiot?

Man child.

FCV = useless “narcissism”

While the rest of us live real, productive, meaningful lives, the DA crowd at FCV pursue obsession with a child’s sport that in the long run won’t make a difference in their adult lives. Enjoy it for the 4 years it lasts girls. It is too bad your parents don’t spend more time teaching you useful skills and knowledge. 5-6 days a week bouncing a ball off your head. Real productive.

Once again, the experts have spoken and have chosen McLean as one of the best female youth clubs in the nation. When your teams are competing for national championships and a competitive league like the ECNL, your team consistently finishes as champion or finalist at the top local showcases, former players are playing major roles at a half dozen top 25 college programs including UVA, Duke, Wisconsin, Georgetown and UNC, and your coaches are often invited to participate in leading training camps, your club is clearly one of the best. No matter what the peanut gallery says, McLean is a national caliber club.

So tell us what these coaches are doing that other coaches aren't doing. Please be specific

We all want to know what the secret sauce is.

I don't have a horse in this race but do know that both clubs produce great products, i.e. competitive teams and players prepared for the next level. You just can't refute the facts.

Both clubs have in the past collected this talent, yes. Whether that continues remains to be seen, as they younger ages show top talent at other clubs.

What age groups are you talking about, U9s? Both FCV and McLean are doing well in their respective leagues.

Again, does anyone know specifically how players are developed differently at these clubs versus other clubs?
