I don't underestand the praise for Fleabag

I worry sometimes that art ends up dictating life other than the other way around. If this is true, we are screwed.

I will say that the end of season two is kind of sad. People don't get better but you end up feeling for them nevertheless. And you have compassion for people who keep trying and trying but don't get where they want.

This. She’s a broken person, although she does seem to evolve towards the end.

Nothing she did was THAT bad. And she does "get better" at the end. ??

AND THEN: the 1st episode of the 2nd season is the best thing ever. It's so good. And yes, like others said, the 2nd season is just perfect.

The episodes are short so it's not a huge time commitment. And I found it to be a talking piece, so I recommend it to everyone.

+1. This was exactly my experience. I loved the second season!

I liked season 1 edgy. But season 2 boring.

I loved it. So did my SO. Not everything is for everybody.

The second season is genius--some of the best TV ever written. Those characters!!

Season two was some of the most perfect TV I've ever watched (and hot). Season one took a while to get into, and while you could skip straight to season two, I think you'd appreciate it more if you saw all of season one.

I didn't love the first couple of episodes of season 1, but it does get better. The second season is fantastic.

But I agree if you are worried about comedy that is "crude", then it is best to avoid it.

I LOVED the first season but the second I thought left a lot to be desired. It was just six episodes about a horny girl and a priest? Nothing compelling about it; also I was sad we never really got closure about her friend Boo.

I agree. Some of the writing and acting in season two is absolutely spectacular. Andrew Scott is a marvel and BWV is amazing. I’ve watched season two about six times so far! I agree. That restaurant scene at the beginning of episode one and season two is so fantastic, and it’s even better once you’ve seen the entire season and then go back.
