There tend to be more Homeschoolers in lower cost of living communities partly because the schools aren’t as good and partly because if you are spending $800k on a house, you generally need two incomes to make it work. Tons of Homeschoolers in Silver Spring, TP, Route 1 corridor, Greenbelt, and Bowie.

One homeschooling family (with 3 kids) in our neighborhood in Germantown.
Our street kids are pretty much divided into - MCPS home school, MCPS COSA, MCPS Magnets, Private, Catholic, Homeschoolers. |
