| Both of my kids have been at sleepovers with 10 or more guests. Somehow, there always seems to be drama with that many kids. The most I've ever been willing to host is three guests plus my own kid and we never had a problem. |
| 1 or 3 guests = 2 or 4 kids = fun! Any more is a circus. |
| Span of control for anything is 5. |
I find this hilariously true. |

My 11 year old wants to invite 7 (8 total) for her b-day sleepover. It is really an issue of not wanting to leave anyone out.

I think the bigger issue is her if you go beyond a few (3-4) then you must invite all the girls in the class. Suck it up. It is only one night. Buy a standing microphone for singing and a disco ball. Stickers. Slime. Music. Food. You will live.
I have done 12. And yes someone did cry. ;( |
| 4 is perfect. Anything more than 5 isn’t a sleepover, it’s just an extended party because the “sleep” part doesn’t happen. |
3 is the worst number for girls. |
Three total is bad. Three guests is fine, because then you have an even number. Unless you have twins. |
