How do you cope with the anxiety of TTC?

I’m in the same boat! Conceived within 2 months of going off the pill at 33. Now trying for #2 at 37 and just went off the pill this month. Waiting to see if it worked the first time or if I get my period on time and what my cycle looks like. It was a really long and hard decision for us to agree to start trying again and now that we are, I just want it to happen quickly!

Thanks! Sometimes I feel like I’m the only one. None of my friends IRL had any wavering as to whether they’d have a 2nd. I had PPA with my first, then switched jobs so the timing wasn’t right until DS was about 4. Now we are both on the same page to start trying but I feel like if it takes too long DS will change his mind, or I will. I’m already not thrilled about an almost 5 year age gap but for now I’m willing to try.

Omg SAME.
Our first took a year to conceive.
The second was a surprise. We did it literally ONE TIME that month. I didn’t time for anxiety or worry!

Now this...our youngest is nearly 3 and I’m so ready for a third. RIGHT. NOW.

Hey op- checking in. Any luck this month? I still have another week before I’m expecting my period. Keep trying to decipher whether I’m having any pregnancy symptoms- none yet.

Hello! I haven’t tested yet and am still a week or so away from getting my period (I think. I’ve only been off the pill a couple months and haven’t really established any regularity yet). I don’t have any symptoms and I’ve done some temping that seems to indicate I haven’t ovulated, so I doubt I’m pregnant. Definitely feeling less anxious about things although I couldn’t tell you why!

I just keep busting nuts in DW and I figure it will eventually happen.
