Birthday party the weekend before Thanksgiving?

huh? We've been going to the same friendsgiving for 10+ years now. Nearly everyone we know also goes to one. They're special because the food is amazing and you're with awesome company of your choice.


I've never heard of this. It isn't a big thing. You are much more likely to have kids with sports games and such any weekend in fall or spring than kids who have to go to "friends giving".
