How common are gay dad families in dcum?

Given that it cost on average around 100k to have a surrogate baby, the low figure is not surprising and why the gay couple with children are almost uniformly wealthy. But I'm sure there's many more blended families with the father coming out later.

That seems incredibly low. I know four families, though in one case, one dad was previously married to a woman and the other dad is a stepfather.

Op here. I would have thought it was higher but I have to tell you while it isn’t super rare it really is uncommon and I say that having been a gay father for 9 years living in dc. The Rainbow Families all- day conference in ther spring is wonderful and huge. Also has lots of activities for kids.

Gay couple in DC with two kids. Completely love DCUM, especially the forums and threads that get so catty. Having reason to be on DCUM is a secret side benefit of having kids. So much fun. Rainbow families is a great group.
