How common are gay dad families in dcum?

Any other gay dad couples raising children on dcum. How many kids? Ages? Where do you live?

I am op. I was getting depressed at the lack of responses after weeks. We have 3 kids. Live in dc. Elementary age.

Was raised by a gay dad. Am straight and now have my own kid. Among my friends know two sets of gay dads right now.

Gay Mom here, we belong to a transracial adoption supprt group. Couple of Dad families come to that. Not sure where they live though.
We are not a member of Rainbow families but go to their family dance they do in Feb. Seems well attended and our kid loves it

Op here. Thank you those who told me about other gay dad families in the area. I know others exist but I was trying to see how common they were in dcurbanmom. And the evident answer is very uncommon.

Dcum is mostly women and pretty anti-male, anti-father most of the time. I doubt there is much here for gay dads.

I know 3 families, all in DC. 3 kids (10 year old triplets),2 kids (3 and 1), 3 kids (10 and 9 year old twins). I know them through my kids school and one family is in my neighborhood and good friends.

Honestly OP, I don't think your going to find any place where two Dad families are going to be common. Are you sure you don't mean, how accepted are two Dad families?

Op here. I know that. I was just hoping ithat it might be more than 2-3 people on dcum but apparently not. Incidentally I looked it up. As of the end of 2016 ( most recent year for which statistics were available) there 28,000 gay male couples with kids in the us.
