OP again. I was thinking it was plausible that she didn't remember my address (since she'd only been over the one time), and didn't have her phone to look it up. Like, she could have remembered that I lived on F Street (for example) but not the block number. But still. I agree, I think she could have done something more.
If she had shown up with no phone, it would have presented another problem, because we don't have a landline. I would have had to leave my phone with her for texting/calling us with any problems. |

If my purse was stolen, I would be overwhelmed with canceling credit cards, changing the locks, and getting a new driver’s license before school reopens and I can’t easily take time off. I’ve had a purse stolen before and I didn’t risk driving until I could go to the MVA. I was too afraid of being pulled over. |
