On for well over a decade, stopped in January, used protection (condoms) for January, did get my period, then started trying: became pregnant in February! Our baby is now a teenager - obviously this didn't just happen, but I remember it as if it was yeaterday.

I don't know when I started ovulating after stopping the pill, but I did eventually use ovulation tests to figure out when I was ovulating. It took me a year to get pregnant the first time.

The second time I got pregnant first try after getting off the mini pill and the third time I also got pregnant first try. (Second pregnancy was an early miscarriage at 7 weeks-ish)

Was on the pill for 10 years, went off, and got pregnant/conceived 2 weeks later. Never even had a period. DS is now 3.

Same thing happened with the IUD- got it out, just got a BFP- no period.

Went off pill may 13 had positive pregnancy test June 9- so sometime in there.
