Because I live in this city with an almost school-aged child and this will be me in a year. You can't tell me that you're comfortable with this type of reaction on thesse posts. In actuality - your kids wil be just fine - Sidwell or not.

Hey guys, cool it since we don't know if this is true and seems like a lot of people got some reject letters yesterday. Now, everyone this a.m. will think they got a reject letter since they did not hear yesterday. I think the mail yesterday and for some lucky mailboxes that meant a same day delivery. Most of us will hear today and for some Monday!

I swore I wasn't going to freak out, but I couldn't sleep last night after reading many of these posts. We live in VA so it might be Monday for us--

Sidwell - flat out rejected. We already expected this as I was the one who's email to Erby was ignored.

Beauvoir - waitlist.

WIS - rejected.

St. Patrick's - waitlist, which is really disappointing as I thought we had a chance.

We now have zero options and no idea where we will send our daughter to pre-k next year.

So sorry, not sure where you live, but have an idea. Does your current program not have Pre-K? If not, I really love St. Francis, and their Pre-K is excellent. Call them and see if they might accept a late application. They are merging with St. Andrews so may be some more flexibility in the program. Good luck to you. It will really all be ok
