It’s not ‘sad and wrong’. It’s market dynamics. You can always just pay for cable.

Market dynamics will likely ruin them all. It is one thing to pay for one or two of these services, but once we all to pay for 20 of them, none of them are worth it.

I pay for Amazon, Netflix and soon - Disney + (includes Hulu/ESPN).

I’m happy with that. It’s still $250 less a month than my parents pay for a cable package, the various box rentals and extras they get.
