It's not about you. Do you turn yourself in when your phone rings and the voice says there is an arrest warrant out for you unless you go buy a gift card?

It's about $20 million going to scammers. There is no current contract, fines are missing, "data" is controlled by company who worked for guy going to jail this money, company is on their 7th name change and no one can figure out who is going to own the $20 million in cameras when the deal expires.

Unless you are breaking the law and endangering children, you don’t have to worry about where your money is going.

False. Lots of people who have not broken the law are getting citations. Part of the scam is to mail the citation too late for an appeal.
Another part of the scam is to send out citations that aren't violations.

The FBI and the Montgomery County Inspector General disagree with you. They say you should be concerned about where your money is going.
But maybe you are a Trumper and want the FBI and IG shut down?

The far left agrees with Trump and doesn't want the FBI to operate? Did not know that.

The FBI shut down the bus camera scam in Dallas and the company simply picked a new name, their 6th, and MCPS signed on to the scheme. MC budget
is out $750,000 with all the cash from fines is going to BusPatrol. MCPS can't figure out who owns the cameras.

The bus camera company controls all of the data and can manipulate the numbers easily. They can say the scheme is reducing violations and no one has any
way to verify their marketing claims.
