Dang! It was the only cottage cheese my toddler would eat.

This phrase is gag-worthy.

Hi everyone. I had emailed the company about two months ago and received a reply that they discontinued production. It was confirmed by my local Giant store here in PA. Very sad. I loved it and bought it weekly. I hope they restart production. Nothing else was nearly as good. I used to like Breakstone, but not anymore. Muuna spoiled me!

I e-mailed the company a month or two back after it disappeared from Northern Virginia stores and got no reply. They may have been shutting down even as I was writing them. Many food products I like seem to suddenly disappear from stores even though they appear to be selling well.

As for the alternative brands, I haven’t liked any I’ve tried: most cottage cheese tastes like Ivory Soap to me. I’m making do with Breakstone’s LiveActive cups, but the cottage cheese has too much liquid, and I have to pretty much ignore the taste.

What has happened to Breakstone? Mine are always full of liquid as well even if I store it upside down and mix well. The curds are also really mushy now.

There is no way Good is better than Muuna. I’ve tried both. No comparison. Muuna was way better.

I like Kalona cottage cheese.

I looked and looked as well but it's no where to be found in my area. I switched to Good but I agree, it's not as good as Muuna.

I live in Boston area. I've been going nuts wondering what happened to it. I couldn't get enough of it. At least now I know.

Also Good is Terrible. Like sawdust compared to Muuna.

This is insane. I’ve loved cottage cheese my whole life and then I discovered Muuna and it ruined all the others for me. Now it is gone and this is the only place in the interwebs where it is being discussed? What the hell happened? I have never seen such a phenomenon come and go so quickly.

Please, people, with these other recommendations. I have tried them all—nothing is close and Good is terrible—possibly the most inapt name ever.

The company is out of business. I worked for Muuna until June 2019.
