ignorant dumb-ass troll

OP here. Are you from Florida? Just because you're clearly offended doesn't make me a troll.
Florida does have a bad reputation for having lots of weirdos.

Why are you hiring a weirdo to clean your house?

OP here. I didn't say she's a weirdo but it's not always obvious. I haven't spent lots of time with this person.

Do you or are you planning to ask every single person who goes into your home?

Good grief. Not everything requires crowd sourcing. Just ask her.

I don't know what either of those things are, but clearly you have absolutely no sense of what the typical gun owner looks like (mostly because there is no such thing).

Ask her. You're her employer, and it's your right to ask and declare your house is gun-free.

Stop arguing with a/the troll. DCUM has a reputation of finding faults with the original poster. Once you go back and forth, they will turn things around and call you a "weirdo."

I am a gun owner, actually. The typical gun owner isn't a concealed carry owner, which is what OP is concerned about.

I Iive in Florida.

That's your problem. Not the gun.

OP here. I don't know. They kinda of go together.

So leave. We won't miss you.

Yes, absolutely.

Let her know ASAP that she is working for a crazy so she can adjust herself accordingly.

Crazy because she doesn’t want someone vacuuming her house every week carrying around a firearm?

You sound like the crazy one.

OP here. I am actually happy here. FL has a lot of pros but weirdos is not one of them. There's a reason everyone knows about only in FL news.

OP here. I doubt it but you never know. This would make it less likely, right? She's not originally from FL. She doesn't have tons of tattoos or purple hair or baby alligators in her yoga pants. The baby alligator in yoga pants lady was recent news in south FL. On a play date recently I saw a gun in this ladies closet. She opened it casually to get something out. The gun was not concealed. We have small children. I also know of 2 people who keeps cobra snakes as pets.

OP here. I know someone is going to call me a troll because it's illegal to keep cobras but I swear one of my sons friends has one. They told me they keep it a secret. Our playdates are always at my house now that I have discovered this fascinating news.

Yes, if your house gets robbed she can protect it.

OP here. HAHA this is a good point. There is a guy is my condo community who said his condo got broken into during the day. We live in a nice gated community but it doesn't always help. Another friends car got her broken into. She had 24 hours security in her community and still this happened!
